# Mute Roles

This page contains instructions on configuring custom mute roles

Only server administrators (users with`ADMINISTRATOR`permission) can set a custom mute role!

### Setting Custom Mute Role

This setting can be used to set a role as your Muted role. Only members with admin permission will be able to set a muted role. If no muted role is set, the bot will try to find a role that is labeled as Muted or it will make a Muted role for you.

### Removing Custom Mute Role
