# Custom Prefix

This page contains instructions on configuring custom prefix's for the bot

Only server members with manage servers (users with`MANAGE_GUILD`permission) can set a custom prefix!

### **Custom Prefix**

This setting can be used to set a new prefix for the bot. Only members with manage server or admin permission will be able to set a custom prefix. If no prefix is set, the bot will use the default prefix which is `?`.
